The Power Building Focus Group is an 8-week strength training experience that blends the best of two worlds: classic compound lifts like squats, presses, and deadlifts, combined with functional bodybuilding and core strength work.

This isn't a bodybuilding split. It's not high volume Olympic lifting. This is about building functional strength with a simple, full body approach and getting jacked while doing it.

Instead of adding more workouts to your routine, you'll replace two Daily Workouts per week with power building sessions designed to fit inside the Street Parking lifestyle. Your training rhythm stays the same—you're just adding structure, guidance, and intention to build strength and gain muscle mass effectively.

What You'll Need

Time Commitment: 60-75 minutes per session, 2x per week

Equipment (All equipment is required—alternatives will not be provided for primary lifts)

  • Barbell and plates
  • Squat rack
  • Dumbbells or kettlebells
  • Plyo box
  • Bench
  • Resistance bands
  • Pull up bar
  • Sandbag or kettlebell (if you have it)

Active Street Parking Membership: Required for Focus Group participation and ongoing program access

Ongoing Access to the SP App/Web Platform: This program is ONLY accessible through the Street Parking app or web platform for viewing workouts, videos, and logging your progress. No PDFs or alternative formats are provided. If you cancel your membership, you will lose access to the program.

FAQ's

Will the workouts still be available after the 8 weeks?

Yes! The collection won’t be visible in the app after the focus group ends, but participants will get a direct link to the workouts. You’ll also have the option to “Favorite” the collection and access it anytime through your Favorites.

I don't have a pull up bar. Can I still follow the program, or is it required equipment?

Yes. A pull up bar isn’t a deal breaker—as long as you’re comfortable substituting movements with a similar stimulus, like bent over rows, bicep curls, banded lat pulldowns, or dumbbell pullovers

 

How long will the workouts take?

If completed in full, each session should take about an hour. However, workouts are ordered by priority, so if you only have 30 minutes, just work through the pieces in order until time runs out. You can also finish the remainder later in the day, later in the week, or skip it altogether.

Can I start a week late?

Yes, you can jump in a week behind. The only downside is that the tailored guidance for fitting the workouts into the current week won’t match up perfectly—but you can still follow along just fine.

I only have dumbbells. Can I join?

This program won’t include dumbbell variations. If you’re confident adjusting barbell movements to dumbbells on your own, you can still get good results. Otherwise, we wouldn’t recommend it—unless you plan to get a barbell and plates in the future, in which case you could save the workouts and do them later.

Will Olympic lifting be included?

No. The program focuses on the major compound lifts: squat, bench, and deadlift.

Is this program for beginners or experienced lifters?

With the guidance provided by Coach Danny, this program will be accessible regardless of your training background or current fitness level. Another thing to consider is that the loading suggestions will be based solely on your perceived exertion, so you can make decisions on how much weight to use based on how you're feeling rather than on an outdated 1-rep max or past experience.

Will participants be able to watch the Zoom calls after the fact/ if unable to join in person?

Yes.

Will there be 1RM testing or is that something I need to do/know before starting the group?

 No, there will not be 1-rep max testing, nor will that information be needed to complete the sessions.
